Merge PDF — developer utilities, encoders and data format tools
Merge PDF combines multiple PDF files into one document in your browser. You add at least two PDFs, reorder them as needed, and the tool joins their pages into a single downloadable file. It is ideal for combining contracts, reports, or scanned documents into one PDF.

About this tool
What Is the Merge PDF Tool? This tool turns several separate PDF files into one continuous document. The whole job runs in your browser through the pdf-lib library and nothing is uploaded, so confidential documents stay on your machine. Inputs Two or more PDF files, added with a file picker or by drag and drop. The order of the list becomes the page order of the final document. How the Merge Works Every file is read into memory. A new empty document is created. The pages of each file are copied across in list order, so a file finishes completely before the next begins. The single document is saved and downloaded with a timestamp in the name so existing files are not overwritten. Controlling the Order Each file offers an up arrow to move it one slot higher, and a delete button to drop it. There is no down arrow , so if you need a reversed order, add the files from last to first. Limits Worth Knowing Password-protected files fail, because the tool does not handle decryption. Images are not re-encoded and page sizes never change, so the output holds exactly the pages you added. No table of contents is generated.
